I've been playing drums for 35 years. Played everything from R&B to klezmer to contemporary worship music.

Traveled in various foreign countrys during the 1980's as a missionary doing contruction work. Built churches, bookstores, homes, developed a very rural mission station in Panama. Trekked around the jungle in the Darien Province of Panama -- most remote jungle in the world (don't know how they figured that out...)

Help my wife forget how much time I spent hunting last year -- while preparing for this year's hunt! ;-)

I am the Lead Pastor of a small church in Vancouver Washington. I'm very happily married and have 6 children -- 5 still at home!

I've been a gun nut since i was 11 years old when I blew a hole in my parents bed... My Dad figured out then that he'd waited too long to teach me about guns!

Started hunting in the Pacific Northwest 4 years ago in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. It is extraordinarily rugged terrain and a difficult place for a "new hunter" to fill a tag, but I've had a lot of fun and I've learned a tremendous amount on my own and with the help of friends!

I hunt with a Marlin 1895 in 45-70. I handload for my rifle and get 1.25 inch groups. 300 grain JHP at 2000fps.

Side Arm: Colt Trooper MK III in .357 MAG. Triple K Drop Belt & Cheyenne Western Holster.

Knife: Finnish Leuku. But from now on I'm looking for a knife with a good gut hook!

In "shotgun only" units I shoot 12 gauge slugs out of a Remington Model 10A Pump.

Back up rifle: Winchester 1894 30-30.

ALWAYS get bear and cougar tags with your elk and deer tags. An opportunity is just waiting to happen for the one who's got the tags in his pocket!

Yeah I wish I could have been there for the hunt but my foot is still screwed up. Thank you for the comment.

Ha ha Lol, no this one didn't involve a gun. It involved a 275-300 pound guy coming down on my foot.

Thanks for the pic comment. Yeah there was no tracking him, he did a backflip and he was done.
How was your hunting season?

Hi Brother
I don't come in here much. I spend so much time traveling and working on the computer. When I can get away from this monster, I do.
How is the church doing? I hope well, take care
and you guys are in my prayers.
